Propane Training Courses Receive Stamp of Approval from National Association of Remodeling Industry (NARI)
WASHINGTON (March 1, 2011)Training courses offered by the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) now contribute to National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) certification programs.
The free online courses help remodelers strengthen their skills and increase their expertise in propane-related applications and installation.
"There is a synergistic relationship between PERC and NARI that is deeply rooted in advancing the remodeling industry through new programs and training," says Tracy Burleson, director of residential programs at PERC. "We are thrilled to be able to offer our propane training courses as part of NARI's certification program."
The 16 propane training courses, which cover topics such as selecting residential heating systems, specifying standby generators, off-grid living, retrofitting water heaters, and understanding the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code, qualify for one continuing education unit (CEU) each. Remodeling professionals are required to complete a total of 16 CEUs as part of NARI certification programs.
